We hold two different contests every year. First being the High School Oratory Contest. Second, is the Precious Baby Contest, held during the Sanilac County 4-H Fair.
This contest is open to 9th - 12th grade high school students, including home-schooled students.
Contestants are required to prepare a 5-7 minute pro-life speech on one of the topics listed: abortion, infanticide, euthanasia or human cloning/embryo research. Students will give their speech in front of a panel of judges where they will be scored.
We award cash prizes to the top 3 winners.
First place wins $300, Second place wins $200
and third place receives $100.
Our first place winner will be invited to give his or her speech at our annual Focus on Life benefit dinner on March 22nd (see info to the left). They will also receive 2 free tickets to the
dinner. The winner will also advance to the
RLM State Oratory Contest held on May 5th in the Lansing area.
